Elle Medical & Aesthetics is a nurse practitioner-owned medical aesthetics and wellness practice in Lafayette, Louisiana. Founded in 2019 and opened as a full-time practice in 2024, Elle offers injectables, biostimulators, laser and facial treatments, hormone replacement therapy, medical weight management, and IV therapy, with every patient seen personally by Crystal Fontenot, ANP-BC.

The Story Behind Elle Medical & Aesthetics
Elle Medical & Aesthetics began in 2019 as a part-time practice while Crystal Fontenot was managing a larger aesthetics clinic. She started seeing patients in a community some distance away so that people who could not travel to her would still have access to her care. What began as a way to reach a handful of patients became the foundation for something larger.
In 2024, the practice opened full-time in Lafayette. The goal was a setting where patients could spend meaningful time with their provider, feel genuinely heard, and receive recommendations shaped around their individual goals rather than a standard menu. Building the practice this way also made room for a healthier balance between professional life and family time, which was part of the decision from the start.
The name carries its own meaning. “Elle” was chosen in honor of Crystal’s grandmother, Estelle, which made the practice personal from the very first day it opened.

Her background spans aesthetics, hormone replacement therapy, medical weight management, and internal medicine, and she performs every treatment offered at the practice personally.
Continuing education is a real commitment here rather than a line on a resume. She regularly attends advanced trainings, seminars, and professional conferences in the United States and internationally, studying new techniques and technologies so she can evaluate what may genuinely benefit patients instead of adopting whatever happens to be newest.
