After Care

Wrinkle Relaxants

Pre-Care Instructions for Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, etc.) and Fillers to Minimize Swelling and Bruising:

To reduce the risk of bleeding, please refrain from taking the following supplements for five days prior to your procedure: Vitamin E, fish oil, and any supplements that begin with the letter "G," including but not limited to ginseng, ginkgo biloba, and garlic. Additionally, avoid aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as Aleve and Ibuprofen unless prescribed by a physician, as these can also increase the risk of bleeding. If you are taking blood thinners, please discuss your options with your injector.

It is advisable to avoid alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours prior to your injections to achieve optimal results.

For neuromodulator treatments, please refrain from any dental work for two weeks before and after your injection date.

Aftercare Instructions for Neuromodulators

It is normal to experience tiny bumps or marks at the injection sites after the procedure; these typically resolve within a few hours. There is a small risk of bruising, which is temporary and can be easily covered with makeup. Any bruising that occurs may last up to one week.

Please avoid facials, rubbing, or massaging the treated area for 24 hours following your treatment. This includes refraining from any microdermabrasion or similar activities that could manipulate the injection sites. It is essential to discuss any planned events or procedures with your specialist, as specific waiting periods are recommended after receiving neuromodulators.

To minimize the risk of infection, do not apply cosmetics, moisturizers, or SPF for at least 12 hours post-procedure. Avoid applying any products that may cause pressure or discomfort to the treated areas.

After the neuromodulator is administered, the weakening effect will gradually begin within 3 to 7 days and will not be fully realized for two weeks. Therefore, optimal results will be evident after at least fourteen days.

There is no need to massage the treated area, but you may contract the targeted muscles for 90 minutes to 2 hours post-treatment.

Please refrain from exercising or lying flat for at least four hours following your injection.

Neuromodulators typically last approximately 3 to 4 months, though individual results may vary. It is recommended to adhere to the suggested treatment frequency to achieve optimal results.
